Accrediting the shifting trends in mobile payments and following the uninterrupted growth, F1Soft International has participated in GSMA’s 4th Annual Mobile Money Summit 2011, one of the year’s most authoritative events in Mobile money sphere in Singapore.
Looking beyond, the fourth annual GSMA Mobile Money Summit was designed to provide real life commercial examples of the kind of business models, services and applications that are being launched to encourage consumer adoption of mobile-enabled payment mechanisms. Enlightening presentations had inspired the m-payment strategies while panel discussions had provided with the alternative perspectives to widen the participant’s understanding.
In order to go along with the latest progression, F1Soft Team, steered by CEO Mr. Biswas Dhakal have presented at the conference on e-Sewa, Nepal’s first online payment gateway. The agenda includes the various features of e-Sewa starting from Remittances, P2P transfer using mobile or web, utility bill payments, prepaid cards to deposit to banks. Mr. Biswas Dhakal had also shared his valuable experience regarding the partnership with BICS’s HomeSend and about the substantial opportunity available in Nepalese market related to Remittance sector.

M-Commerce World Summit 2011
To learn about the recent developments, progress and interact with the senior level executives of leading mobile commerce industry, F1Soft team participated in M-Commerce World Summit, 6-7 April 2011 in Singapore. The two day event, organized by Symphony Global, was attended by more than 100 representative of mobile payments sector across the globe.
The focal theme of the conference was how to profit from mobile financial services through developing strategic partnership. It was a great experience for F1Soft team to learn about profitable and sustainable business model available for mobile money, commercial opportunities and challenges in offering mobile financial services, strategies to penetrate the mass market for mobile money transfer followed by the case studies from Globe Telecom, Dialog and Celcom. An in depth reassessment of mobile money transfer, payments and remittances from the industry experts, helped the team to understand the emerging technologies, ideas, solutions and trends.
